Britt Gerhard is a San Francisco-based freelance new media designer who designs for both print and web.
Before launching her business in 2010, Britt worked as the creative director for Ground Floor Public Affairs, a San Francisco consulting firm. Previous to working at Ground Floor, Britt worked as a campaign field coordinator for the Gavin Newsom for Mayor Campaign, and interned for Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, as well as for San Francisco District Attorney Kamala D. Harris. Britt combines her design skills with her extensive background in San Francisco politics, giving her a unique perspective on design and community.
In 2008, she developed, directed, and administered California Pacific Medical Center’s BabySteps, the first family centered online social network for a non-profit hospital. She has also worked on projects for:

Britt has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The George Washington University and is currently working towards her Master of Fine Arts in Web Design & New Media at the Academy of Art, San Francisco.
